These guys are top notch...I had them hardwire a radar detector and it was done with perfection. I had another project for them and what I thought was not possible, Ricky and Chris came in clutch and exceeded all my expectations...I will only go to Miramar Car Audio and Ceramic Coating for any of my car needs...simply the best in San Diego...

I am honestly one of those people who knows nothing about cars, but I wanted a hardwire dash cam install. I called Miramar Car Audio and talked to Rick on the phone who told me they could squeeze me in for a same-day installation. The customer service on phone and in-person was excellent. The shop is very clean with a very comfy couch to wait at, which allowed me to get work done while I waited. They told me it would be 2-3 hours, but it only took ~1 hour!! Rick taught me how to use the dash cam with the app, explained to me how it work, and answered all of my questions. Prices were very fair for the labor and quality of work. No wires anywhere just a very clean installation!! I would seriously recommend this place to anyone who needs a dash cam installation. They do excellent work and service, and the shop itself is really nice as well.

I contacted them about installing my 3-channel dash cam system (front, rear, and interior cameras), and they were able to take me in as a walk-in the same day. The whole process was quick, easy, and hassle-free. Shout-out to Rick for the excellent service! He was friendly, answered all my questions, and took the time to explain the dash cam features and app setup, including how to activate parking mode. He made sure everything was working properly and that I understood how to use the system before I left. The hardwire installation took about two hours, and the wiring was clean and professionally done. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the fact that Rick didn’t rush through the setup. They provide excellent customer service and they truly care. When I arrived the owner was manufacturing a custom subwoofer box for a Rivian. He stopped, went over my tint removal from the front 2 windows and put me in the scheduled. I had to leave for an appointment and was prepared to walk the mile down to the building but he told me to take his personal car. When I returned 2 hours later the work was done and they had even cleaned my side mirrors and the windshield. I would use these guys for any service they provide.

Honest review, I never give reviews but this place is worth it and people should know. I brought in my sprinter van 2 years ago for new speakers and subwoofer. Rick and his team were professional, honest, and walked me through different options to optimize my audio car expereince. Experts that acutally care. Unreal how good my car sounds. Fast forward to present and one of the speakers had an issue. Rick made time for me to bring in and fixed the issue (wasnt his fault to begin with) . THEY JUST CARE!! isnt to many places that stay in business that long or will always do what is right. If you are shopping around look no further. It feels like I have a partnership with Miramar audio anbd I am grateful for it. Feels good to know I can rely on these guys. Will only be bringing it back here for as long as I have a car!! thanks Rick and team!!

I couldn’t be happier with the service I received here. I first took my wife’s car to a Honda dealership, where I paid $300 just for a diagnosis and was given a ridiculously expensive estimate to replace the audio system. Thankfully, I was referred to this shop by a body shop I know, and finding them was truly a blessing. Everyone here was honest, friendly, and professional. Rick, in particular, was amazing. He took the time to really listen to what I needed and genuinely cared about solving the problem rather than just trying to sell me something. That kind of honesty is hard to find these days. The best part? They fixed the problem perfectly for about 30% of what the Honda dealership quoted me! I honestly consider this one of the most honest and trustworthy shops in the area. The service was fast, the price was fair, and everyone was incredibly kind and professional. If you’re looking for a shop you can actually trust, I highly recommend this place. Brought my bmw e30 in for window tint and they did an absolute perfect job! Couldn’t be more pleased. Older cars front and rear windshields have very little margin for error. The shop understood my concerns and were extremely meticulous.

Rick is great and doesn't try to oversell you on things you do not need. What started off as initially thinking our Mercedes had a blown amp (the tweeter started smoking) and removing the fuse as a safety precaution was diagnosed as just replacing the tweeter speaker only instead. Additionally, I also have a Lexus that had a failed clear coat on the corner of the headlights with peeling and Rick and his team were able to polish both the headlight to perfection AND apply PPF over it (much better than just adding a ceramic coat that'll wear off). The pricing was fair and they did a great job considering the complex design of Lexus headlights with that drooping little strip for the DRL (which they also were able to extend the ppf to that strip in one piece). I'll likely be back to schedule window re-tinting in the next month or 2 for my Lexus since the previous owner did a horrible job and the quote also was fair for IR quality tint (including removal).
