Their did the work but their overpriced radio wasn’t even secured properly if you got money like that they will do the job above and beyond mind I bought a $150 radio only problem is the harness needs another harness but $800 to do the work some advice if place looks empty that the sign because If like how someone does the job at reasonable price am probably going to keep going back and buy even more expensive from them for my appreciation $800 is a whole new radio

We understand your concern regarding the cost, but we would like to clarify the work that was required on this Mercedes-Benz SL 500.<br><br>This was not a simple radio and harness installation. The factory audio system requires the amplifier to be bypassed and the vehicle wiring to be modified and rewired so the aftermarket radio can operate properly. The speakers also require additional wiring and are not simply a plug-and-play harness replacement.<br><br>Regarding the radio being secured, the aftermarket radio you provided did not come with a vehicle-specific mounting bracket or hardware for the Mercedes-Benz SL 500. Because of the factory design and the equipment provided, additional custom work is required to properly mount an aftermarket radio in this vehicle.<br><br>The $800 charge was for the extensive installation, custom wiring, amplifier bypass, speaker wiring, mounting work, testing, and labor—not simply plugging in a harness. The $150 radio was purchased separately by you.<br><br>We always try to find a proper solution for vehicles that require custom installation, and we stand behind the work we perform. We’re sorry you were disappointed with the cost, but we believe it is important to clarify what was actually involved in this installation.

I had a great experience at Al & Ed's Autosound! They were professional, worked very quickly, and seemed very knowledgeable about stereo issues. They diagnosed and replaced my car stereos in a little over an hour. Would definitely recommend!

They did an excellent job of installing an android auto upgrade. I'm picky about my car, and I know how much that had to take apart and they were neat and no new rattles. They were quick to reply, and pleasant to work with.

Excellent experience. Immediate appointment, best pricing around San Diego, incredibly respectful, friendly, and helpful. Super knowledgeable and fine with me bringing my own equipment to have them install (other shops not as good about that). Clean reception area and restroom. Stayed true to estimate. Couldn’t ask for anything else. Highly and easily recommend! (Installed new interface for 2012 Audi)

Sam was super helpful and explained all of my options. Wanted a back-up camera and wireless car play on a 10 year old Jeep. Had it done in a few hours but I wasn’t able to make it back. He let me keep it in the shop overnight with no issues. Super happy with the result. Highly recommend.

Worked with Sam at Al & Ed's Auto Sound for a full audio/head unit upgrade on my Audi and couldn't be happier. Sam was straightforward and transparent the whole way through — no upselling, no trying to push me into spending more than I wanted to. He just laid out the options and let me decide. The work itself was done professionally and on time. New screen looks great, backup camera works perfectly, and the speakers sound awesome with zero rattling or issues. I actually messed up and showed up a day early (thought we said Monday, we'd actually agreed on Tuesday), and Sam just rolled with it and got me in anyway without any hassle.
