Nick was fantastic. Recommended an excellent setup for my car and the installation works great. Would highly recommend him and the car audio shop!

Nick was chill, price was fair for the install quality. Used a amp board, was super clean and what I expected from them! One annoyance and I take the blame. last second I had to swap in a GP audio tru spec box designed for the exact subs. Sadly the sub hole was cut to 9.35 apparently too small. They opened up the hole and the quality of this was not great. The dude who did it defiantly was mad at me and the cut quality showed. The kick seemed off, Nick blamed the box, I swapped to a sealed custom Gatley same issue but it did help as Nick suggested it would. Ditched the lc2i they installed, added a Helix MK2 and tapped the front door signal. Bam we got 50hz-90hz into the mix. Moral of this review don’t be chap, get a DSP, have them build your box and don’t buy a car with Bose premium. Guy who did my install had the bedside manner of a grumpy cat but meh I’m not there for their charming personalities. Will go back to them for my next install but with a bigger budget and will bring a snickers for the grumpy guy!

Nick and the installer who handled my radar detector and dash cam were both outstanding. Nick communicated clearly throughout the process and answered all of my questions promptly, making everything easy and stress-free. I’m also extremely happy with the quality of the installation. Both the radar detector and dash cam were installed cleanly, with no visible or hanging wires. The attention to detail really shows. My only regret is not having my car alarm installed here as well. After seeing the quality of their work and customer service, I can confidently say this is a much better shop than the one I used before. I highly recommend The Car Audio Shop.

The shop helped me source some Morel speakers at a great price. Nick was super helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to respond to my emails every time I had another question for him. When it comes to building out another car I will definitely be going back to them despite the nearly hour long drive for me.

The Car Audio Shop is an absolute gem. I found this shop after another local business absolutely butchered every inch of an audio job I paid them to do. Nick, the owner of The Car Audio Shop, executed an exceptionally professional and timely fix of virtually every issue I had. Not only did they walk me through everything that was wrong, but they took the time to sit down and explain all the changes made. I actually ended up further upgrading my sound system with Nick, adding a DSP, new speakers, the works, and he had it done in a day. A few days later I texted him saying I heard a minor rattle, and Nick immediately responded, "bring it in." He expertly diagnosed the rattle in minutes and had me fixed at no additional charge in under an hour. I wish I could give this shop the praise it truly deserves, but I implore you to trust that this place is a gem. We are incredibly lucky to have it in North Austin!

Awesome, knowledgeable, professional group of guys Nick, Nick (Nelson), and Chris got an old poorly done viper security system out and hooked me up with compustar. Explained everything clearly to me, made all the wiring extremely tidy, and said to come back at anytime ever if I have issues. I will 100% be back to get a new head unit and any other work I need done. Highly recommended

Nick and the team at the car audio shop did an amazing job on my setup. They installed my sub, amps, upgraded my speakers, and handled several other things for me as well. What really stood out was they took care of some extra work at no charge just to make sure everything was right. The whole process was smooth from start to finish — on time, very clear communication, friendly, and professional. They treated my car like it was their own and the sound quality came out incredible. Definitely recommend Nick and the shop if you want quality work done right the first time.
