This past Monday I went back to Katy Car Audio to have the installation of an audio console that was installed there last July checked and that had been showing sudden and successive shutdowns for several months. The owner/Manager of this establishment simply told me that he would not check anything because in his opinion the equipment is not good. Of course I was not at all happy with the unprofessional treatment that demonstrates the lack of customer service at this place. I went to Hyper Audio on Mason Rd and Kingsland Blvd. I explained what was happening to its owner, Rafael, who kindly helped me and checked the installation until he found the problem of poor installation that was done at Katy Car Audio, a place that I will never recommend and will never return to.
Had a dash cam installed over the weekend. I noticed that one of the features was not working correctly. Brought it back to the shop where the owner helped me directly to find and fix the issue. There was no wait for this and he was very friendly and wanted to make sure i was 100% satisfied before leaving. Would recommend!
If I could give them zero stars I would just by the introduction. I called about having an alarm put on my truck that I had previously purchased, which I explained to the lady who answered the phone. She said I should bring the system in and have them check it out. I was under the impression they did installations even if you didn't purchase there. About an hour later i went in and I asked a man whom I'm assuming was in charge the same. He looked at it, but acted like he didn't have time unless I bought one there. He casually pointed at the ones for sale but no sales pitch. Nothing they couldn't tell me over the phone… so I went home. Later on, I was kinda ticked off at the guy but I figured Id go ahead and see about getting one he pointed out and having it all financed (as is advertised on the door) so I called back. A third person answered the phone and acted like i was wasting their time as well and said they didn't even know what financing was so I just gave up. I would've used them but they have three strikes already so I'll purchase an alarm and installation elsewhere.
Hello Joseph, I remember you, three people told you we only install name brand alarms, since you did not know what you had or what brand you had purchased, that's why you were offered to come by so we can see what you have, you had something that we would not take a chance installing, so we then offered you a viper alarm installed for $200 and financing companies do not finance $200, so no matter what we did to please you it was not going to enough, it's much easier to be nice to each other, even though you did not spend a penny with us and after 3 people tried to help, you think we still deserve a negative feedback for helping you, we still hope you are doing well and are having betters days. I looked all over hunting for a good priced place to get my speaker system redone and my dash cam installed. I found Katy Kar Audio and got a quote and was immediately booking an appointment. At first i was a little thrown off due to some negative reviews, but the employees proved all of them wrong! They were very professional and explained everything to me before doing anything. It was done fast and and done well! I have had no problems and am beyond happy with their services. Highly recommend.
I brought my M4 here for window tint and dash cam installation. The work here is fast and flawless. Will be back.

If Views positive they Fake! They Messed up my Car destroyed wiring and Other people came in complaining bout samething Save Headache go elsewhere and Owner / supervisor whomever he is the Biggest Crook!!!
