It was a huge investment to add a light bar for a cross state trip in the dark winter. I followed the sales guy's recommendations and nope, my light bar is so low all it does is add to the road 5 feet in front of me. I was specific about needing light on the shoulders for moose. Zero benefit to seeing moose unless they are 5 feet in front which means hitting them on a road in the middle of nowhere, with no cell signal.
